The History of Arnott Construction Limited
Arnott Construction Limited was founded in 1929 and has successfully completed hundreds of projects throughout Ontario. We have earned an excellent reputation for quality with our many clients who include many of the Ministries within the Federal and Provincial Governments. We have completed projects or provided services for many of the Provincial counties, townships and municipalities as well as private land developers, Bell Canada, Ontario Hydro, CPR, C.N.R., and industry. We believed in “partnering” in the completion of these projects before it became a buzzword.
Our crews consist of over 100 construction workers with over 50% of our regular people having over 5 years experience with our company and many have over 10 years. Our supervisors are knowledgeable construction workers with a minimum of 10 years field experience and several have received the Gold Seal Certification by the Canadian Construction Association. Our management team has over 100 years of experience collectively and most are graduates of Civil Engineering Technology. We value our employees and have implemented an extensive safety program which has earned us significant refunds under the Workers’ Compensation CAD 7 Experience Rating.
Our fleet of well maintained late model equipment and trucks numbers more than 100 pieces. Strategic alliances with equipment suppliers and other contractors supplement our fleet to meet whatever needs a project requires. Our reputation for quality, fairness and prompt payment attracts competitive sub-contract prices ensuring our clients of a competitive quality product.
What goes on at the construction site is only part of the story. At our various offices, we have fully qualified, well experienced and dedicated team members who ensure that the crews are properly equipped, supplied and informed.
